It is easy to know if the place is inappropriate for the plant because of signs of discoloration and wilting. If this happens, immediately transfer the plant to a different place.

Watering of the bonsai tree:

Never let the bonsai tree dry out completely and do not over-water it as well. Regular monitoring of the soil is needed so that the plant will not die. During summer, water the plant several times a week and daily during very hot periods. Minimal watering is needed during cold seasons and winter.

Soil feeding:

Do not use fast-growth fertilizers and feed the soil in moderate amounts. You can use powder form fertilizers that you should dilute first in water. You will then apply the solution to the soil.

Trimming:

Most of the new growth of the plant should be trimmed. And the best time to do this is during spring and fall. Be sure to artistically trim the branches for beautiful results. Regular trimming of the root is also needed.
